Kristin Fischer will join CNN as the Space and Defense Correspondent in July 2021. She covers all aspects of space, from NASA as well as Space Force, Space Force and commercial space companies, to the emergence of space tourism. As the daughter of two NASA astronauts, Kristin was raised in the space industry and spent the last five years reporting on the Biden and Trump Space Policy of the Administration as a White House Correspondent for FOX News. Over the course of her tenure, she reported on the presidential 2020 campaign, the impeachment trial as well as two initiatives to end the corona virus pandemic, as well as two different administrations' initiatives. Kristin traveled extensively, including both the president and vice-president. She was even on an extremely secret trip to Afghanistan along with Donald Trump. Kristin was a TV local reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., which she won the Emmy Award for her work as the "one-man-band" reporter prior to being hired by CBS in 2015. Kristin started Field Mouse Films with her expertise behind the camera in the year 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in making documentaries for corporate clients which included Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds a Bachelor's degree in journalism from Boston University. She is currently living in Washington, D.C., with her entire family, which includes their three-year-old daughter.
